# TONKO

> TONKO is a pocket money app for families (Android). Children aged 6–14 learn how money works by earning it through jobs, splitting it into Spend, Save and Grow jars, saving for goals and taking short lessons, while a parent approves every step. No ads, no tracking, no bank card. Made in Croatia by Boiled Eggs Studio. Available in Croatian and English.

TONKO is one app for the whole family: install it on the parent's phone, on the child's phone (paired with a code), or share one phone and hand it over. The parent side is behind the family PIN or biometrics. Money in TONKO is a record the family keeps, not a bank account: no card, no real investing, and the Grow bonus is a reward parents set and pay themselves.

- Who it's for: parents and guardians (18+) and their children aged 6–14.
- Platforms: Android (Google Play). iPhone is planned for later.
- Languages: Croatian and English; the app follows the phone's language.
- Price: free with one child. TONKO Family (monthly or yearly subscription through Google Play; the yearly plan starts with a 7-day free trial) adds more children, Grow plans, the Money Time Machine, unlimited goals and every pack for Tonko. Prices are shown in Google Play.
- Privacy: children have no accounts and give no email address, birth date or location; no ads, analytics or tracking in the app; families can export or delete all their data in the app.

## What children learn

- Money is earned: jobs have a value agreed in advance; the child marks a job done and a parent confirms it.
- Every euro needs a job: Spend for now, Save for a goal, Grow for later.
- Saving has a point: a goal with a target and visible progress is easier to reach than "someday".
- Waiting pays: the Money Time Machine shows what small amounts become over months and years.
- Wanting is not buying: a wish becomes a goal to save for.
