These terms

SeeTheStack is run by Rorz Network LLC, 2108 N St, Suite 11952, Sacramento, CA 95816, United States (“we”). By using SeeTheStack you agree to these terms. If you use it for a company, you agree on the company's behalf. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data.

What SeeTheStack is

SeeTheStack scans public websites and reports the technologies we detect on them, with the evidence for each. Detection is automated and can be wrong or out of date: a site can hide a tool, load it only for some visitors, or change between scans. Treat the data as a well-sourced estimate and check anything you rely on.

Accounts

You sign in with a link sent to your email address, so keep that inbox secure. You're responsible for what happens under your account and for the people you invite to your organization. Tell us at hello@seethestack.com if you think someone else has access.

Plans, trials and payment

The free plan costs nothing. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe, at the price shown when you subscribe, plus any tax that applies. The trial gives Pro features for 7 days without a card and ends on its own; it doesn't turn into a paid plan.

You can cancel or change plan at any time from your billing page. A cancelled plan keeps working until the end of the period you've paid for, then drops to the free plan. We don't refund part-used months, except where the law requires it. If something went wrong, write to us and we'll look at it.

We may change prices. A change applies from your next billing period, and we'll email you at least 14 days before.

Using the data

You can use what you see, export and fetch through the API for your own research, sales and marketing, and quote individual findings with a link back to SeeTheStack. You can't resell or republish our data in bulk, build a competing database from it, or scrape the site to get around plan limits. API keys are for your organization only.

If you contact companies or people you found through SeeTheStack, follow the anti-spam and privacy laws that apply to you. Don't use founder pages to harass, profile or track people.

Acceptable use

Don't try to break, overload or get around the security of the service, access other customers' data, or use SeeTheStack for anything unlawful. We may suspend or close an account that does, and we'll tell you why unless the law prevents us.

Our content and other people's

The site, its design, reports and compiled data belong to SeeTheStack. Product names and logos belong to their owners and are shown to identify the products we detect, which doesn't mean their owners endorse us. Some links to tools are affiliate links and may earn us a commission. They never change what we detect or how sites are ranked.

Availability and changes

We work to keep SeeTheStack running and accurate, but we don't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may add, change or remove features. If we remove something central to a paid plan, we'll tell you, and you can cancel.

Liability

SeeTheStack is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits, lost data or decisions made on our data, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Ending

You can stop using SeeTheStack at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may end these terms if you break them. The sections on using the data and liability continue after that.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes go to the state or federal courts in Sacramento County, California. If you're a consumer, this doesn't take away protections that the law where you live gives you.

Changes to these terms

We update the date at the top when these terms change, and email account holders about changes that affect them. Using SeeTheStack after a change means you accept it. Questions: hello@seethestack.com.
