- Voice units: a static (pre-recorded) ringless voicemail costs 0.5 units per successful delivery; AI-personalized messages average 2-3 units depending on script length (a unit spans 150-500 characters).
- Billing model: you are billed only for drops that connect for the full length of your message, and a failed or cut-off drop costs nothing; every delivery includes a verifiable recording; unused units roll over for 90 days; no long-term contract, and plans renew monthly, quarterly or yearly.

Delivery depends on list quality (full inboxes, disconnected numbers and carrier filtering stop some first attempts on any platform); VoiceDrop retries automatically with Multi-Attempt Delivery, bills only delivered voicemails, and attaches a verifiable recording to each. VoiceDrop delivers through premium carrier routes ranked on the callbacks they produce, rotates sender numbers out before spam tagging affects callbacks, and matches the recipient's area code by default.

- Half of all callbacks to a ringless voicemail come within 8 minutes of it landing; 36% within the first minute, 71% within an hour, 93% within a day.
- A caller ID from the recipient's own state gets 65% more callbacks than an out-of-state number.
- Voicemails sent Tuesday to Thursday get 7% more callbacks than ones sent Monday or Friday.
- 5 pm in the recipient's time zone is the best hour to send (24% above the average hour); 8 am is the weakest.
- 57% of callbacks arrive between 10 am and 3 pm in the caller's local time.

## Live Dialer (sales dialer)
VoiceDrop also sells a Live Dialer, a separate product from ringless voicemail. Facts verified September 2026:
- [Sales dialer](https://www.voicedrop.ai/sales-dialer/): a click-to-call sales dialer that runs in a web browser, with nothing to install. A rep signs in, picks one of the account's VoiceDrop numbers as the caller ID, and dials a US number (US numbers only for now).
- A person presses Call for every call. It never dials on its own: no power, predictive or parallel dialing.
- When a call doesn't go through, the screen and the call log give a short reason, such as No answer, Line busy, Declined by receiver or Number not in service. "Connected" means the carrier put the call through, which can include a voicemail box.
- Both sides of connected calls are recorded (on by default; the account owner can switch it off), with playback, 10-second skips, speeds up to 2x and download. Transcripts that show who said what are an option.
- Teams: a login and permissions for each rep, one live call per login, and analytics with calls, connect rate, conversations (connected calls of a minute or more), talk time and calls per hour for each rep, call outcomes, best time to call, caller ID health, and a call log with CSV export.
- Price: $97 a month includes 5 callers, and each extra caller is $25 a month. Calls come out of a prepaid balance: 1.6 cents a connected minute, 0.4 cents a minute on the line for calls that don't connect, recording 0.25 cents a minute, transcripts 2.4 cents a minute when switched on, and $1.50 a month for each local number.
- In beta: the VoiceDrop team switches it on for each account after a [demo](https://www.voicedrop.ai/demo/). Not included: answering machine detection, CRM integrations, local presence.
