# Slashspace
> Slashspace (formerly Rabbitholes AI) is a canvas-first AI interface for hands-on, long-context work on hard problems. It's built for researchers, learners, strategists and writers who want to think with AI, not hand their thinking over to it. Slashspace is a desktop app for macOS, Windows and Linux.
Most AI apps aim for an away-from-keyboard experience: ask, wait, accept. That suits grunt work. Discovery work (research, learning, strategy, and producing high-quality work that doesn't read like AI) needs the person hands-on, thinking in branches, iterations and variations. Slashspace puts that work on an infinite canvas. Every chat is a node: fork a conversation to chase a tangent without polluting the main thread, compare answers from different models side by side, and connect exactly the sources and notes each chat should see.

- Canvas Orchestrator: an agent that creates, connects and updates nodes and delegates work to subagents, with the person approving each switch into Orchestrator mode

- Slashspace is a subscription: $89 a year, with every update while you subscribe. It renews every year.
- Cancel any time from the Stripe billing portal on your account page. Cancelling keeps access to the end of the paid year.
- Slashspace Lifetime: $249 one-time, with lifetime updates. No subscription.
- There is no free trial. Both plans are refundable within 7 days, no questions asked.
- To buy, enter your email on the website, answer three quick questions and pay on Stripe. You don't need an account first. Then download the desktop app and sign in with that same email.
- Customers who bought the earlier $89 one-time license keep it. When their updates window ends they can subscribe for $89 a year to keep getting updates.
- The optional hosted wallet (Slashspace Wallet credits, 1 credit = 1 cent) pays for Slashspace's hosted AI models, including Auto, and AI tools such as image generation. Both plans include a one-time grant of 500 credits. A zero wallet balance does not block app access, BYOK, subscription providers, or local models.
