# Sayora
> An AI receptionist for UK small businesses. Sayora answers the calls you forward, takes a message, books callers into your calendar, answers their questions, screens spam and lets you know about each new lead by text, email or both. Two plans: Pro, at an early bird price of £49 a month with unlimited minutes while limited places last (then £79 a month for new accounts, with a monthly call allowance), no VAT added; and Enterprise, shaped with us.
## What Sayora does
Sayora does five jobs with the calls it answers, plus one you can switch on:
1. **Take a message.** Sayora gets the caller's name, confirms the best number to reach them on and writes a short summary of what they need. You can add up to three extra details to ask on every call, and the answers appear under Details on the lead.
2. **Book them in.** Connect Google Calendar or Cal.com and Sayora checks your live availability, offers a couple of times and books the slot on the call. The caller gets a text confirming the appointment. With Cal.com, that text includes Cal.com's own link to reschedule or cancel. With Google Calendar, the caller rings back from the number the booking is under, with caller ID showing (and not through forwarding that shows the business's own number), and Sayora moves or cancels it on that call. Without a calendar, Sayora takes the caller's details and the appointment request still needs follow-up.
3. **Answer their questions.** Sayora answers from your business details, your website and your common questions, and gives only the prices and timeframes you've provided. Anything you haven't covered is taken down as a message rather than guessed at.
4. **Get notified.** When a call ends with a lead, Sayora sends it to you by text (on from the start, to any UK mobile) and by email (on by default, to any inbox). Urgent leads, the calls that can't wait, start with URGENT and are listed first in the Sayora app. Every lead lands in the Inbox with the recording, transcript and summary.
5. **Screen spam.** Sayora politely ends cold sales calls and recorded messages, so they never reach your leads. Couriers, suppliers and other businesses calling about their dealings with you get a message taken. Withheld numbers are answered like anyone else unless you choose to turn them away.
**Text your callers** is an option you switch on: the caller gets a text from your business's name summing up what they rang about, written from the call and following up to three rules you set. Callers who booked get the booking confirmation instead.
## How calls reach Sayora
Each account gets its own UK number: a local landline or a national 03 number. You forward your existing business number to it: your phone can ring first, with unanswered calls going to Sayora (a mobile can also send declined calls), or a mobile can send every call straight to Sayora. Sayora answers whenever your calls are forwarded, at any hour. You keep your existing number with your current provider.
Sayora answers in your business's name with a voice you choose from 18 British and Irish voices. New callers hear early in the call that Sayora is an AI, and every caller hears that the call is recorded, before Sayora asks for any details.
## Who Sayora is for
Small businesses with repeat questions and enquiries a team can follow up, including estate agencies, car dealerships, trades and other service businesses. Fit depends on the calls and the workflow, not just the sector.
## How Sayora works
Setup is self-serve, with no setup call: the receptionist is built in minutes and can be live the same day.
1. Build a demo receptionist from your business information, free and with no card, and talk to it with your own questions. Demo test calls are limited.
2. Claim the receptionist for your business and add a card to start the 7-day free trial, then check Sayora's answers. To take bookings, connect Google Calendar or Cal.com and choose what callers can book.
3. Forward your calls when you're ready. Review the leads, recordings and transcripts in the Sayora app, and follow up with callers.
## Limits
- Inbound calls only: Sayora answers callers and never rings anyone.
- No live call transfer. Sayora takes a message instead, marked urgent when it's one of the calls that can't wait.
- English only.
- Sayora answers only the calls you forward to it, so check your forwarding with the built-in test call.
- AI can make mistakes, so test important questions before forwarding customer calls.
## Pricing
As checked on 16 October 2026, there are two plans. Pro is £49 a month with no setup fee and no contract: an early bird price for 50 accounts, who keep it, with unlimited minutes (no per-minute charges) and a named account manager, for as long as their subscription stays active; the pricing page says how many places are left, and once they're gone Pro is £79 a month for new accounts, with a monthly call allowance and no account manager. Enterprise is Sayora shaped around a business, with the Sayora team beside it: workflows designed together, custom integrations, hands-on setup and testing, ongoing reviews and a named account manager as standard, at a monthly price agreed around the service, with any setup work stated upfront; it starts with a demo booked at https://cal.com/sayora/discovery. Sayora isn't VAT-registered, so no VAT is added: on Pro, £49 a month is all you pay Sayora. Building the demo is free with no card; the 7-day free trial starts when you claim the receptionist and add a card. See the pricing page for current terms.
## Ambition
Sayora is starting with reception and call handling. The founders' wider ambition is to make useful AI agents available to small businesses without a technical team. Features being developed are not part of the current offer until released.
