# linkn.ca
> linkn.ca is a Canadian-made personal profile and link-in-bio platform that lets users claim a username, create a public profile, share social and website links, post short thoughts, and discover other people across Canadian cities.
linkn.ca is a free service for Canadian residents. Each user gets a single shareable profile at `https://linkn.ca/<username>` that aggregates their bio, social handles, website, quick links, and recent thoughts. Visitors can like, follow, share, and view a QR code for any profile. Authentication uses email/password and Google OAuth via Supabase.
The platform is intentionally minimal: no ads, no algorithmic feed, no tracking beyond first-party analytics for profile owners (views, link clicks, QR scans). Content is moderated under a UGC disclaimer and DMCA policy.

- Each profile shows: avatar, full name, username, location, like/follow/thoughts counters, social icons, website link (with `?ref=linkn&utm_source=linkn&utm_medium=profile`), bio, action buttons (Like, Follow, Share, QR code), recent thoughts side panel, and quick links grid.
- Logged-out visitors can view, like, and follow; like/follow actions redirect to sign-in and return to the same profile after authentication.
