# walkai-talkai
> Push-to-talk voice bridge between any two-way radio (Baofeng, Quansheng, Motorola) and AI agents like Cursor, Claude Code and Antigravity. High-accuracy speech recognition and CoreML neural TTS for macOS.
walkai-talkai is a native macOS menu bar app (Apple Silicon, macOS 13+). The operator presses push-to-talk (PTT) on any handheld two-way radio; a second radio connected to the Mac with an audio cable feeds the voice into walkai-talkai, which transcribes it and types the command into an AI coding agent (Cursor, Claude Code, Antigravity, Terminal) or sends it directly to an LLM. The agent replies through a local HTTP endpoint and the answer is spoken back over the radio with CoreML neural text-to-speech, VOX wake tones and a roger beep.

## Agent API (local)
Any AI agent that can run a shell command can speak to the operator over the radio:

- `POST /api/reply` {"text", "lang"?} — speak a short announcement over the radio (requires an active license).
- `GET /api/status` — station status, operation mode, devices, last command.
- The API listens on loopback (127.0.0.1) only.
- Protocol: prompts that came from the radio start with `[radio command]`; agents should reply on screen as usual AND send a 2–4 sentence spoken summary via /api/reply, ending with "over" (EN) or "tamam" (TR).
