# VibeTalent
> The marketplace for vibe coders who actually ship.
VibeTalent is a developer talent marketplace that helps founders find developers through relevant projects, repository control checks, and community feedback.
## Key Concepts
- **Vibe Coding**: Building software using AI-powered IDEs (Claude Code, Cursor, Bolt, etc.) with a focus on shipping fast and consistently.
- **Vibe Score**: A reputation summary based on the strongest public verified project evidence and trusted community feedback. Commit volume, streaks, badges, and project counts earn no points.
- **Streaks**: Consecutive days of logged activity. Descriptive context only; they do not establish talent, reliability, or delivery.
- **Badge Levels**: Bronze (30-day streak), Silver (90-day), Gold (180-day), Diamond (365-day).
- **Quality Score**: Repository file checks for README, test-related files, and CI/container configuration. This does not certify code quality or delivery.
## How It Works
1. Developers sign up and connect their GitHub profiles.
2. They add projects; repository control and demo reachability are checked separately.
3. Reputation uses project evidence and trusted feedback; activity does not add score points.
4. Clients browse relevant projects and listed skills, or use the AI agent to find candidates, then agree on a scoped paid trial to evaluate delivery.

## Featured Project Promotion (USDC, live now)
Builders can pay to feature a shipped project at the top of the homepage Featured Projects section. Payment is in USDC on Base or Solana: prices read live from the on-chain contract on Base (0x2cDB438f418f5cb53e8Ea87cFD981397FDe3d0da). No platform fees on top of the on-chain price.
Tiers:
- **Day**: $2 USDC, 24 hours.
- **Week**: $10 USDC, 7 days. ~29% off the daily rate.
- **Month**: $29 USDC, 30 days. ~52% off the daily rate. Best value tier.
- **Lifetime**: $199 USDC. Slot persists indefinitely until the contract is upgraded or removed.

## Bags Builders (verified token launches)
VibeTalent maintains a public trust layer over Bags launches at https://www.vibetalent.work/bags. Bags knows which wallet launched a token; VibeTalent knows which GitHub-verified builder controls that wallet. Joining the two answers a question neither side can answer alone: whether the person behind a launch actually ships software.
- **How a launch is verified**: the builder proves the launching wallet, then every mint that wallet holds fee-share authority over is checked against the Bags creator record. Only mints where Bags confirms the wallet as creator are listed.
- **Two ways to prove a wallet**: (1) sign a server-issued nonce, a message signature that cannot move funds and is the recommended route; or (2) for builders who will not connect a deployer wallet to a website, send an exact randomly-chosen amount of a few thousand lamports (well under a cent) to VibeTalent's Solana receiving address, which VibeTalent watches for on-chain. The second route works in any wallet that can send SOL, including Phantom. A memo naming the account is accepted as an additional binding where a wallet supports attaching one, which most do not. Either way the wallet never grants VibeTalent any spending permission, and neither route can stop someone who is tricked into signing anyway.
- **What appears without a launch**: nothing. Being a VibeTalent builder, or being in the Bags Hackathon, does not put a row on the launches board. That board counts launches proved by a wallet signature, which is why a hackathon participant with no linked wallet is listed under hackathon projects but not as a verified launch.
- **What is never used**: self-reported X handles or profile links. A launch is only ever matched to a builder through a cryptographic proof from the launching wallet, so a launch cannot be claimed by anyone who does not control that wallet's key.
- **What each row shows**: the builder's VibeTalent profile, how many tokens they have launched, their vibe score, and their current coding streak. Vibe score is earned from public verified project evidence and community feedback; commits and streaks earn zero points, and is not affected by token activity.
- **Ranking**: builders are ranked by vibe score, not by number of launches.
- **Coverage**: opt-in. A builder who has launched on Bags but has not proved their wallet does not appear as verified, so the verified board is a lower bound, never a complete list. Launches discovered from the Bags launch feed are listed unclaimed alongside it, labelled as such.
- **Hackathon projects**: /bags also lists the Bags Hackathon cohort, matched to builders by the GitHub owner of the submitted repository. The list is curated from the DoraHacks submissions plus winners announced separately, and is not a complete record of the programme.
## 2026 Roadmap Summary
- **Q2 2026**: $VIBE token utility activates. $1 streak protect (burn $VIBE to save a missed-day streak) and $1 project featuring (promote a shipped project on the homepage/explore feed). Token is already live on Solana at FfDYT3WqimMw7itMxw4kYJ26GPG78RfpZmepQCFpBAGS.
- **Q3 2026**: Stake-to-vouch profiles (vouchers stake $VIBE behind builders they believe in) and Ethereum USDC support. USDC payments on Base and Solana are already live; Q3 adds Ethereum as the third supported chain.
- **Q4 2026**: Try-before-you-hire ($50 paid 1-hour trial tasks), squad hiring (hire a pod of dev + designer + PM), recurring retainers, auto-generated portfolios from GitHub deploys, public shipping radar digest, and a "Built by a VibeTalent builder" GitHub PR badge.
