# Incredible
> Incredible is an AI that does tasks on your computer. It clicks and types
> in your browser, your files and your apps, exactly like you do. You hold a
> key and say what you need, or type it, and Incredible does the work on
> your Mac or Windows PC.
## What Incredible is
Incredible is a desktop app for Mac and Windows. You give it a task in plain
words, by voice or by typing, and it does the task on your own computer, in
the same places you would: it uses websites in your browser the way you do,
clicking through pages and filling in forms on the sites you are already
signed in to; it reads and updates the spreadsheets and documents on your
computer; and it works inside the apps you connect, such as Gmail, Slack,
Google Calendar and Notion.
A chatbot writes the answer and leaves you to put it into each app yourself.
Incredible puts it there for you. It asks before anything is sent, you can
approve or change each step, and you can stop it at any time.
## What it can do
- PowerPoint, Excel and PDFs: with the file open on your screen, point at what you want changed, activate Incredible and say it. Incredible makes the change in the file.
- Browser: clicks and types in your own browser, signed in as you, on any website. That covers the CRMs, ERPs, PIMs, supplier portals and admin panels that have no integration, including uploading and downloading files.
- Connected apps: connect apps like Gmail, Slack, Google Calendar and Notion, and Incredible sends the follow-up emails and messages and moves information between them.
- Autopilot: put a task on autopilot and Incredible does it by itself every time something happens in your apps, until you switch it off. For example, it can set up a meeting with a prospect over a back-and-forth email thread.
- Teach it your own tasks: for the long, complex work that has to be done exactly the way you do it, record yourself doing the task once while you talk it through. Incredible learns the task and does it the same way from then on.
- Screen: when you activate it, Incredible sees the page or document in front of you, so you can say "reply to this" without explaining which email you mean.
- Files: creates, edits and converts the files on your computer, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF, and saves new ones wherever you ask.
- Voice or typing: hold the talk key and say the task in your own words, or type it into the bar at the top of the screen.
- Scheduled and saved tasks: save a task you repeat so it runs the same way every time, or put it on a time frame, such as a report every Friday.
- Control: when you give Incredible a task, it asks before anything is sent, and you can approve the step, change it first, or stop. A task on autopilot runs the way you set it up: it asks first if you want that, and goes ahead without asking if you told it to.

## Security and control
- Will it do things without asking me? Only if you tell it to. When you give Incredible a task, it asks before it sends, changes, or deletes anything, and you can watch exactly what it does. A task on autopilot runs the way you set it up: it asks you first if you want that, and does the work without asking if you told it to go ahead.
- Is it always listening to my microphone? No. It only listens while you hold the key, and closes the moment you let go.
- Is my data safe? Do you train on it? SOC 2 Type 2 audited by Sensiba and GDPR compliant, with data on our servers encrypted at rest and in transit and no training on your data. Contractual agreements with our AI subprocessors prohibit using it to train their models, and we keep zero data retention with our AI providers wherever possible. Our Trust Center at trust.incredible.one spells out exactly what our compliance covers.
