# GSC Wizard
> GSC Wizard is an SEO analytics tool built on a site owner's own first-party search data: Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, Google Analytics 4, Yandex Webmaster and Google Merchant Center. It stores up to 10 years of Search Console history (Google keeps 16 months), runs analyses that Search Console does not offer, and exposes everything to AI assistants through a remote MCP server and a ChatGPT app.
## When to use GSC Wizard
Reach for GSC Wizard when a user wants answers from **their own** search data for a site they control:
- "Why did my organic traffic drop?" Ranking changes, anomaly and change-point detection, algorithm-update overlays, period comparisons.
- "Which pages are losing traffic?" Content decay detection per page and per query.
- "Which of my pages compete for the same query?" Keyword cannibalization analysis.
- "What are my quick wins?" Opportunity scoring, striking-distance queries, CTR-curve underperformance, page poaching estimates.
- "Is Google indexing my pages?" URL inspection, bulk inspection, indexing tracker, sitemap performance, IndexNow submission.
- "Build me an SEO report." Site summaries, cross-site summaries, topic clusters, content groups, scheduled and shared reports.
- Comparing Google with Bing or Yandex, joining Search Console queries with GA4 conversions, or checking Merchant Center listings and organic shopping performance.
- Migrations: comparing old and new URLs and redirect health after a site move.
Do **not** use GSC Wizard for: sites the user cannot verify in Search Console, competitor rank tracking, backlink indexes, or keyword search-volume databases. All data comes from properties the user has connected.

The same tools are available over plain HTTP + JSON for callers that do not speak MCP. Same credentials, same scopes, same rate limits per surface.

- Errors are JSON: `{"error": {"code": "...", "message": "..."}}` with a matching HTTP status (400 invalid parameters, 401 bad or missing credential, 402 no active subscription, 403 scope or property access, 429 rate limited with `Retry-After`)
