## What MESA Does
MESA lets merchants build automated workflows that respond to events in their store and across connected apps. A workflow has at least one trigger (the "when") and one or more actions (the "then").
**Example:** When a Shopify order is tagged "wholesale", add the customer to a HubSpot list, send a Slack notification to the sales team, and log the order to a Google Sheet — automatically, every time.
