> Your whole day, unedited. Flipcorder is a retro camcorder app for iPhone, made for iPhone Duo, by Lotus Apps, LLC. Film little moments all day: flips stop at 20 seconds, or set No limit, and today's tape holds 30 minutes. Clean HD, up to 1080p, kept on your phone. Pick VHS or MiniDV and change it any time. Nothing is edited out.

- Each flip stops by itself at 20 seconds by default (or set Flip length to No limit). Every day gets its own 30-minute tape, and a fresh one loads at midnight.
- Quality: clean HD, up to 1080p at 30 frames a second, by default; Quality in settings offers smaller 720p files. Nothing is uploaded.
- The look sits on top and is never baked into the flips: it's drawn live as you film and play, so a tape can be switched between VHS and MiniDV any time.
- No editing: no trimming, no cutting, no importing. Save a day's tape to Photos as one film, in a VHS or MiniDV look or as the clean HD original.
- On iPhone Duo, opening the fold switches it on, and the person you're filming sees themselves on the outside screen. Every other iPhone gets a glowing POWER key.
- Stickers to earn as you film, kept in a camcorder bag with a Home Video Club card, this week on tape and your spare tapes, and a kind streak: spare tapes, earned with a full week of flips, cover the odd day off, and Put it in the bag pauses it while you're away. Share the bag, the week or a new sticker as a little card; cards never show your footage.
- A theme for every day, from 1 November 2026: tap Take the theme on today's blank cassette and it becomes the tape's label. It's only an invitation, and it can be switched off.
- Widgets: today's tape as a cassette on the Home Screen, plus Streak (Home Screen, Lock Screen and StandBy), This week and Next sticker.
- Tap the picture to watch a tape full screen. Every flip keeps the local time where it was filmed.
- Reminders are off until you turn them on, and they never count the days you missed.

- Privacy: no accounts, no Flipcorder cloud, no tracking. Videos stay on the phone until you save or share them. The app sends only anonymous crash reports and anonymous usage stats, which can be turned off in its settings; never footage.
