# DwellRecord
> The Digital Custodian for Your Home. A subscription web app that helps U.S. homeowners track capital improvements to raise their cost basis for lower capital gains tax at sale, and document household assets for complete, defensible insurance claims.
Founded in 2025 by Matt Price (remote-first). DwellRecord is a web-based SaaS built for two moments that determine whether a home is a financial asset or a financial liability: selling it, and filing an insurance claim on it.
