# Wells Workshop

> Giving vintage tech a new life, and doing projects just for the joy of making things.

I am a craftsperson who likes to tinker and learn new things.

- [Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/wellsworkshop/)
- [Shop](https://shop.wells.ee/): Open-source electronics kits for vintage tech, like a tiny Macintosh that runs real Mac OS, Wi-Fi for a Bang & Olufsen turntable, and Claude Code on an Apple II.

## Apps
Free software, not for sale, listed at https://wells.ee/apps/.
- [Mojito](https://mojito.wells.ee): A tiny Mac app that lets you type to search :emoji:, ::symbols::, and :::gifs anywhere. (Mac app; free)
- [Enshittifier](https://enshittifier.wells.ee): Replaces every AI on the web with 💩. The Chrome extension does it in the page; the Mac app does it in your font files. (Chrome extension · Mac app; free)
- [See No Numbers](https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/see-no-numbers/coghcljioklijloigpjhondeiehgicec): Hides every number on a page — prices, follower counts, the lot. Dates and times stay put. (Chrome · Firefox extension; free)
- [Apple II Terminal for Claude Code](https://shop.wells.ee/products/terminal-for-claude-code/): Boot a 140K floppy, dial a WiFi modem, and a real Apple II becomes a terminal for the actual claude CLI, bridged from a modern Mac. (Apple II · IIgs down to the II+; free)
- [Solar Payoff](https://github.com/wr/solar-payoff): A dashboard that tracks how close your home solar is to paying for itself: Enphase production, valued at your electricity rate, climbing toward the install cost. (Self-hosted · Docker; free)
- [floppyemu-sd](https://github.com/wr/floppyemu-sd): Gets disk images onto a FloppyEmu SD card without ever seeing “file not contiguous” again. Same-size images are overwritten in place, so they stay where the Emu can read them. (Command line · macOS & Linux; free)
