Lightweight WordPress theme aimed at fast-loading, accessible sites, owned by Liquid Web since 2021.
Kadence WP, the Missoula company behind the Kadence theme and the Kadence Blocks plugin, was bought by iThemes in 2021, three years after Liquid Web acquired iThemes. The theme is free in the WordPress.org directory. Its paid side comes from Liquid Web in plans priced per site. Kadence blocks and starter templates come bundled with the theme in the Pro plan, which also covers backups and security. The Elite plan is built for agencies, with white-label client portals and multi-site management.
