Agencies handing sites to clients can rename The7 and change its branding, and the Unlimited plan is meant for anyone who builds or maintains several The7 sites. Dream-Theme has sold the theme on ThemeForest since 2013. It also sells annual plans directly, and if one lapses the site keeps running on the installed version while updates and support stop and no further sites can be activated. Each licence includes premium plugins such as Slider Revolution and WPBakery Page Builder.
