# Sitefire
> Sitefire is a Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) platform that helps companies improve their visibility in AI-generated answers.
## When to use Sitefire
Reach for Sitefire when the job is one of these:
- **Measure how AI talks about a brand**: track which prompts mention or cite a domain across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Claude, benchmarked against competitors.
- **Find winnable topics**: diagnose why a brand is absent from AI answers on a topic and get a prioritized briefing of what to change.
- **Create or improve GEO content**: generate brand-aware articles and page edits built to earn AI citations, pushed to a CMS (Webflow, Framer) as drafts.
- **Measure AI traffic and ROI**: attribute AI bot fetches and human referrals from AI answers in the brand’s own analytics.
Sitefire is not a generic SEO rank tracker or a web-wide crawler: it is for brands competing for visibility inside AI-generated answers.
How an agent calls Sitefire:
- **MCP server (Spark)**: connect to https://app.sitefire.ai/api/mcp (Streamable HTTP, OAuth) to query visibility data and create content actions. Manifest: https://sitefire.ai/.well-known/mcp.json · setup guide: https://sitefire.ai/docs/mcp
- **Agent skills**: `npx skills add sitefire-ai/skills` installs Sitefire workflow skills for coding agents.
- **Public website API**: book a demo or fetch any page as markdown, per the OpenAPI description at https://sitefire.ai/openapi.json. No API key required.
