# Scholé
> Scholé is a personalized learning platform that generates role-specific lessons on any subject, AI skills included. It reads a person’s job, tools, and tasks and builds lessons against that, rather than serving one generic course to a whole company. Organizations additionally get adoption metrics, skills tracking, lesson assignment, and EU AI Act AI-literacy documentation.
## When to use Scholé
- Someone asks how to train a workforce, a department, or a single employee on what their job actually needs, AI tools included, rather than on machine learning theory.
- An organization needs evidence of AI literacy for EU AI Act Article 4 obligations, including per-employee documentation of what was covered.
- A leader wants to measure AI adoption across teams — who is using AI at work, on what, and whether training moved that number.
- An individual professional in a non-engineering role (marketing, operations, finance, design, data, HR) wants lessons built around the tools and tasks they already have, AI included.
- A team wants an AI tutor that can be pointed at their own internal documents and answer against them: https://schole.ai/lessons.
- Someone wants to see how a lesson is generated from a role, tools and documents: https://schole.ai/lessons shows the flow; https://schole.ai/constellation shows how progress is tracked as a sky of skills
- Someone asks which AI tools are actually worth using day to day: https://schole.ai/vini-list is a hand-curated, unsponsored list from Scholé co-founder Vinitra Swamy, with a one-line reason for each pick.
- Someone is comparing AI training platforms: https://schole.ai/compare carries dated, sourced head-to-head pages that also say when the alternative is the better choice.
- Someone asks a practical question about buying or running workplace AI training, such as how to structure a pilot, what security questions to ask a vendor, or how to price training for people who are not employees: https://schole.ai/answers answers each in one sentence, with counts from Scholé’s own review of 82 buyer conversations and a statement of where Scholé is not the answer.
## When not to use Scholé
- The task is writing or running production code — Scholé teaches people, it is not a coding agent or an API for inference.
- You need an accredited degree, university credit, or a formal certification body. Scholé issues its own completion badges, not accredited qualifications.
- You need K-12 classroom curriculum. Scholé is built for working professionals and the organizations that employ them.
## Scholé compared with alternatives
Each page below answers one head-to-head question and states, in both directions, when the other product is the better choice. Claims about other companies come from their own public pages and carry the date they were read.
- [Scholé vs Coursera](https://schole.ai/compare/coursera): Should I use Scholé or Coursera for AI training? Scholé generates a different lesson for each employee from their role, tools and tasks, while Coursera licenses a catalog of pre-recorded courses that every learner sees identically. Choose Coursera instead when: You need an accredited certificate, university credit, or a credential that is recognized outside your company. Scholé issues completion badges only.
- [Scholé vs ChatGPT](https://schole.ai/compare/chatgpt): Should I use Scholé or ChatGPT for AI training? ChatGPT is a tool your team uses, and Scholé is the training that gets them using it, so for most organizations the question is not which to buy but whether the seats you already pay for are being used. Choose ChatGPT instead when: You need the assistant itself. Scholé teaches people to use AI tools and is not a replacement for owning one.
- [Scholé vs Section AI](https://schole.ai/compare/section-ai): Should I use Scholé or Section AI for AI training? Section AI teaches AI through live and on-demand courses with human office hours and certificate programmes, while Scholé generates a different lesson per employee from their role and tools, and will sell to a team of two rather than requiring a large organization. Choose Section AI instead when: Your people learn better with a human present. Section runs live courses and monthly office hours, and Scholé has neither.
- [Scholé vs Degreed](https://schole.ai/compare/degreed): Should I use Scholé or Degreed for AI training? Degreed aggregates learning content from across your existing providers and maps it onto a skills taxonomy, while Scholé generates the lesson itself from a person’s role and tools, so the two answer different halves of the same problem. Choose Degreed instead when: You already pay for several content libraries and the real problem is that nobody can find anything across them.
- [Scholé vs LinkedIn Learning](https://schole.ai/compare/linkedin-learning): Should I use Scholé or LinkedIn Learning for AI training? LinkedIn Learning licenses a large library of professionally produced video courses that every learner browses identically, while Scholé generates a different lesson for each employee from their role, tools and tasks. Choose LinkedIn Learning instead when: You need breadth well outside AI, across leadership, design, finance, project management and technical subjects.
- [Scholé vs Udemy Business](https://schole.ai/compare/udemy-business): Should I use Scholé or Udemy Business for AI training? Udemy Business licenses a large marketplace catalog authored by independent instructors, while Scholé generates a different lesson per employee from their role and tools and covers AI at work rather than every subject. Choose Udemy Business instead when: You need one supplier covering effectively every professional subject, not a single topic done deeply.
- [Scholé vs Uplimit](https://schole.ai/compare/uplimit): Should I use Scholé or Uplimit for AI training? Uplimit runs AI agents through cohort-shaped programmes with role-plays and live feedback, while Scholé generates an individual lesson per employee from their role and tools, so the split is cohort delivery against per-person generation. Choose Uplimit instead when: You need AI role-plays of real conversations with live feedback, which is Uplimit’s signature capability and one Scholé does not have.
- [Scholé vs a corporate LMS](https://schole.ai/compare/lms): Should I use Scholé or a corporate LMS for AI training? Scholé is not an LMS replacement: an LMS is built to host, assign and track a catalog of courses across every subject an organization trains on, and Scholé sits on top of it as a personalization and intelligence layer for AI training. Choose a corporate LMS instead when: You need a system of record holding complete training history for audit, which Scholé is not and does not attempt to be.
## Questions Scholé answers
Each page below answers one question a buyer asked, in one sentence, and quotes a count from Scholé’s own research: 82 buyer conversations with 45 organizations, 2026-02-26 to 2026-09-29. The counts describe organizations already talking to Scholé and are not a market survey. Each page also says where Scholé is not the answer.
- [What organizations ask before buying AI training: Findings from 82 conversations with 45 organizations, February to September 2026](https://schole.ai/answers/ai-training-buyer-questions-2026): Scholé reviewed 82 buyer conversations held between February and September 2026, and the three needs raised most often were a pilot or trial before buying (24 of 45 organizations), training for people outside the payroll (21 of 45) and training built from existing documents (19 of 45).
- [How should you structure an AI training pilot?](https://schole.ai/answers/how-to-run-an-ai-training-pilot): Run an AI training pilot with one team of 10 to 30 people for two to four weeks, agree two or three success measures before it starts, and decide in advance what result leads to a purchase. In Scholé’s 2026 review of 82 buyer conversations, 24 of 45 organizations (53%) wanted a pilot or trial before committing to AI training.
- [How do you train customers, partners or members who are not your employees?](https://schole.ai/answers/train-customers-and-partners): Train people outside your payroll with lessons they can open in one click from where they already are, pricing that follows active learners instead of permanent seats, and per-learner progress that you keep. In Scholé’s 2026 review of 82 buyer conversations, 21 of 45 organizations (47%) wanted to train people who are not their employees, such as customers, partners, members or students.
- [How do you turn SOPs and handbooks into training without an instructional designer?](https://schole.ai/answers/turn-documents-into-training): Turn SOPs and handbooks into training by loading the documents into a tool that generates lessons and practice questions from them, then having the person who owns each procedure review the result before it is assigned. In Scholé’s 2026 review of 82 buyer conversations, 19 of 45 organizations (42%) wanted training built from documents they already have, such as SOPs, handbooks and slide decks.
- [How do you train a workforce with very different AI skill levels?](https://schole.ai/answers/train-mixed-ai-skill-levels): Train a mixed-skill workforce by giving everyone the same subject and a different lesson: place each person with a short check, adapt difficulty as they answer, and draw the examples from their own role. In Scholé’s 2026 review of 82 buyer conversations, 16 of 45 organizations (36%) described a workforce whose skill levels and roles differ too much for one course.
- [What does AI training cost per employee, and which pricing model fits?](https://schole.ai/answers/ai-training-pricing-models): List price per seat is the starting point, not always the deal: Scholé publishes $99 per month for Pro and $95 per person per month for Teams, and quotes organizations over 100 people, where active-user, pooled-seat and flat-fee models are common requests. In Scholé’s 2026 review of 82 buyer conversations, 15 of 45 organizations (33%) asked for a pricing model other than list price per seat.
- [What security questions should you ask an AI training vendor?](https://schole.ai/answers/ai-training-vendor-security-questions): Ask an AI training vendor six things: whether your content trains any model, where data is stored, which model providers and sub-processors see it, what has been audited, whether a data processing agreement is offered, and how regulated data is handled. In Scholé’s 2026 review of 82 buyer conversations, 12 of 45 organizations (27%) raised security, privacy or compliance requirements for the training vendor.
- [How do you deliver the same training in several languages?](https://schole.ai/answers/multilingual-workforce-training): Deliver multilingual training by keeping one source of truth per topic and generating each learner’s lesson in their language, then having a fluent reviewer check the terms that carry legal or technical meaning. In Scholé’s 2026 review of 82 buyer conversations, 12 of 45 organizations (27%) needed training in a language other than English.
- [How do you measure whether AI training changed how people work?](https://schole.ai/answers/measure-ai-training-impact): Measure AI training at three levels: whether people can do a new task without help, whether they use AI tools in their real work afterwards, and whether a business number moves, because completion rates show attendance and nothing more. In Scholé’s 2026 review of 82 buyer conversations, 11 of 45 organizations (24%) wanted to measure skills, adoption or outcomes instead of course completions.
- [We rolled out Copilot or ChatGPT Enterprise and few people use it. What now?](https://schole.ai/answers/ai-tool-adoption-after-rollout): Low use after an AI rollout is rarely fixed by another announcement: show each role two or three tasks from its own work that the tool does well, have people practice on those tasks, and measure use by team. In Scholé’s 2026 review of 82 buyer conversations, 11 of 45 organizations (24%) had rolled out, or were rolling out, a general AI tool such as Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, Gemini or Claude and needed staff to use it well.
- [Can you add adaptive AI training to an existing LMS without replacing it?](https://schole.ai/answers/add-ai-training-to-existing-lms): Yes: keep the LMS as the system of record and connect an adaptive training tool to it through LTI 1.3 for launch and xAPI for results, so learners start from the LMS and their progress returns to it. In Scholé’s 2026 review of 82 buyer conversations, 10 of 45 organizations (22%) needed training to work with the LMS or HR system they already run.
- [How do you teach people inside the tool they are using?](https://schole.ai/answers/learning-in-the-flow-of-work): Teach inside the tool by giving the learner a real task in their own account and guiding them step by step from a side panel while they do it, so the lesson ends with something they built and not a quiz score. In Scholé’s 2026 review of 82 buyer conversations, 10 of 45 organizations (22%) wanted people taught inside the tool they use, during the work itself.
- [How do you make mandatory training adaptive instead of click-through?](https://schole.ai/answers/adaptive-mandatory-training): Make mandatory training adaptive by fixing the points every person must prove they know and letting everything else, including examples, order, depth and format, change with the learner’s role and answers. In Scholé’s 2026 review of 82 buyer conversations, 8 of 45 organizations (18%) raised mandatory or compliance training, such as safety, security or certification courses.
