# RouteSketcher
> GPS art made easy. Create GPS art routes for running, cycling, and walking that form shapes and designs when viewed on a map, then export them as GPX for Strava, Garmin, Komoot and other fitness apps.

RouteSketcher runs in the browser, with no app to install. You draw a shape on the map, pick one from the shape directory or generate one with AI, snap it to real streets and paths from OpenStreetMap, and download the result as a GPX file to follow on a watch or phone. Routes are supported from 500 m up to 600 km.

## Tools
- [Sketch editor](https://routesketcher.com/sketch): The main editor to draw and plan GPS art routes on a map, snap them to roads and export them as GPX.
- [AI Doodle Generator](https://routesketcher.com/imagine): Describe a shape in plain words and the AI draws it, ready to place on the map.
- [GPX Importer](https://routesketcher.com/gpx-importer): Import an existing GPX file and turn it into an editable sketch.
- [Image Importer](https://routesketcher.com/image-importer): Upload a PNG, JPG or WebP image and auto-trace its outline into a route.
