# bugstack
> An autonomous maintenance department for your software, powered by Claude and in early access. An agent does a task when asked; bugstack finds the work itself. bugstack watches your app and your GitHub repository, fixes what breaks, and sends every change as a pull request you control. It acts on uncaught server errors (JavaScript, Python, Ruby and Go SDKs), failed deploys on connected hosts (Render today), and what it finds by scanning the repository: known-vulnerable packages, committed secrets, and outdated packages.
## How control works
- Three autonomy levels, set per repository: "Draft fixes for me", "Open PRs, I merge", "Fix & merge for me". New accounts start at "Open PRs, I merge".
- Every change runs through the repository's existing CI.
- Automatic merging of a crash fix requires a reproduction that failed before the change and passed after it.
- Sensitive changes (rotating a secret, changing infrastructure, rolling back a deploy) always wait for a person.
- Every action is written to a tamper-evident audit log. Undo opens a revert pull request.
- A crash fix over 3 files or 30 lines is never merged automatically. It waits for review.
## What bugstack does not watch
- A wrong answer that comes back as a success
- Anything that fails without throwing an error
- Slowdowns and performance regressions
- Errors in users' browsers
- Deploys on a host that is not connected
