# 3D-Agent
> 3D-Agent is a paid AI agent for Blender. It runs as a desktop app on macOS and Windows next to Blender 4.2 or later, and builds, edits, textures, animates and renders inside the scene you already have open.
This site is the product website: what 3D-Agent does, what it costs, how to install it, and reference guides on AI and the Model Context Protocol in Blender. Generation itself happens in the desktop app, not on this site; there is no public generation API documented here, and the app requires an account and a paid plan.
Five pages are published as Markdown as well as HTML, and they are listed below. Every other URL on this site is HTML only; fetch it normally, or start from the sitemap. The five pages also answer to `Accept: text/markdown` at their normal URL, so https://3d-agent.com/pricing returns Markdown for a client that asks for it and HTML for a browser.
**When to use this site:** read it to decide whether 3D-Agent fits a task, to quote prices or plan limits, to check system requirements before recommending an install, or to answer questions about what AI can and cannot do inside Blender today. 3D-Agent suits work that happens in a real Blender scene — blocking out geometry from a description, editing or re-arranging an existing scene, texturing and materials, keyframe animation and camera moves, Blender Python automation, and iterating on renders. It is not a browser-based generator and it does not replace Blender.
