# Yoggi
> Yoggi is an AI chatbot built specifically for children aged 3–15. It delivers age-adapted responses, supports voice input and text-to-speech, enforces strict content filtering, and includes a PIN-protected parental dashboard.
## What Yoggi does
- AI chat assistant designed exclusively for children (ages 3–15)
- Responses automatically adapt to the child's age: vocabulary, sentence length, and complexity are calibrated per profile
- Refuses to discuss violence, sexuality, drugs, or any age-inappropriate content: by design, not as a filter layer
- When a child attempts to access inappropriate content, Yoggi redirects with humor rather than a rejection message
- Voice input and text-to-speech: children who cannot yet read or type can interact by speaking
- Honest about being an AI: never pretends to be human; explains its nature in age-appropriate terms
- Real-time safety alerts: every child message is analyzed as it's sent; a concerning conversation triggers an immediate email to the parent (capped at one alert per day, always disclosed as AI-generated, never a substitute for parental judgment or professional advice)
- Daily AI insights: a nightly AI-generated summary of the previous day's conversation (mood, topics, engagement, points of attention), viewable in-app, free on every plan
- Weekly email recap: an optional email combining the week's daily insights into one summary for the parent
- Sensitive topics personalization: parents can flag family-specific sensitive topics (grief, separation, illness, etc.) from settings so the AI treats them with extra care if the child brings them up, without ever lowering baseline safety rules
- Real-time voice call: a live, two-way voice conversation with Yoggi (no text on screen), separate from the text/voice-input chat. Reviewed for safety after the call like any conversation; the full transcript is visible to parents only, in the read-only history
- AI image generation: when a child asks to see something, Yoggi can generate a cartoon-style image inside the chat, enforced through three layers of safety (chat safety rules, a fixed server-side style template, and the image provider's own filters)
- AI bedtime stories: Yoggi tells a full bedtime story out loud, in the same voice used elsewhere in the app, either from an idea the child describes or as a complete surprise Yoggi invents. A short preparation step checks the idea is age-appropriate before any story is generated, and every story ends on a calm, positive note. Playback continues with the screen locked or off, with lock-screen controls
- Free Play / Learning Mode: a parent-only setting choosing whether Yoggi leans toward open, playful conversation (Free Play) or always steers back toward reflection and discovery (Learning Mode). Applies to text chat and voice calls alike; never changes safety rules or age adaptation

## Pricing
- Free tier: capped at 50 total AI messages for life, plus a configurable daily limit (10–100 messages/day)
- Premium subscription: removes the 50-message lifetime cap, and raises the daily limits on voice calls, images, and bedtime stories; the configurable daily message limit still applies
- Voice calls: 5 cumulative minutes for life on the free tier, 10 minutes per day on premium (separate quota from text messages)
- AI images: 5 images for life on the free tier, 15 per day on premium (separate quota; only successful generations count)
- Bedtime stories: 1 story for life on the free tier (up to 5 minutes), 1 per day on premium (up to 15 minutes), separate from the other quotas
