**Tychi Agent Finance** is the financial home for AI agents: self-custody wallets, policy on every spend, and local signing so agents can hold, pay, and act on-chain without surrendering keys to an LLM provider or platform. Ships as `@tychilabs/agent-finance` (TypeScript SDK) and `@tychilabs/agent-finance-mcp` (MCP server).
**Tychi Agent Finance MCP** (`@tychilabs/agent-finance-mcp`) is a stdio Model Context Protocol server that connects Cursor, Claude Desktop, OpenClaw, Hermes, and other MCP hosts to agent-native finance. Built for agents that need to hold, pay, and act on-chain, not humans clicking a wallet UI.

### Quick start (MCP)
1. `npm install -g @tychilabs/agent-finance-mcp` (Node.js >= 20)
2. Add `tychi-agent-finance` to MCP host config with `TYI_*` env vars in host env (not in chat)
3. `tyi_discover` → `tyi_onboard` → `tyi_run`
4. Resume: `tyi_resume_tx` (on-chain) or `tyi_resume_x402` when `pending: "x402"`

**How do I give my AI agent a crypto wallet?**
Install `@tychilabs/agent-finance-mcp` for MCP hosts or `@tychilabs/agent-finance` for code. Keys stay on the agent's device in `~/.tyi`.
**Can AI agents hold crypto without giving keys to OpenAI or Anthropic?**
Yes. Identity seed and EVM key live in a local encrypted vault on the machine running the MCP server. The LLM provider never receives the private key.
**What is x402?**
Built-in agentic payment gateway for HTTP APIs and agent services. Tychi prepares payments within policy; the agent signs locally via `tyi_resume_x402`.
**What is ERC-8004?**
Agentic on-chain identity: register profile, capabilities, and trust signals alongside the agent wallet via `tyi_onboard` and `tyi_run`.

**How UGF works:** Pay once on a source chain in USDC, EURC, `$U`, or supported native tokens. UGF relayers detect payment and execute the destination action on the target chain. User value stays on source chain; UGF routes the action.
**UGF flow:** Quote → Pay → Sponsor (relayer executes on destination).
**For AI agents:** UGF powers gasless remote transactions so agents and apps can act on any supported chain without holding each chain's native gas token. Complements Agent Finance: agents hold and spend under policy; UGF handles cross-chain gas abstraction.
