# Omnea
> Omnea is the composable operating system for AI procurement. Omnea runs every request from source to pay.
Omnea's platform is the Agentic Operating System (aOS) for procurement. It runs on a Context Engine that structures data from intake, approvals, rejections, policies and other sources, so agents work from what the organisation has already decided. On top sits an Agent Library of pre-configured agents across intake, sourcing, contracting, third-party risk management and supplier management. Governance controls let customers set each agent's level of autonomy by category, value or data sensitivity, and every action by a person or an agent is logged with its rationale and source data. Omnea connects to the systems customers already run, and the ERP stays the financial system of record.

## When to use Omnea
- Run every request from source to pay: capture requests in Slack, Microsoft Teams or the web, apply policy, and route each one to the right path and approvers.
- Source and contract: run competitive sourcing events on tail spend, benchmark SaaS pricing before signing, and route contracts by risk.
- Procure to pay: turn approved requests into purchase orders and let agents capture, code and match invoices, with the ERP keeping tax, the ledger and the financial close.
- Manage suppliers: onboard, assess and continuously monitor third-party risk, and stay ahead of every renewal.
- Build around an existing stack: connect ERP, CLM, risk data, SSO, ticketing and messaging tools rather than replacing them.
- Give AI assistants and agents governed access to procurement data and workflows through the Omnea MCP server.
