# MCPVault

> The independent, quality-first directory for the Model Context Protocol (MCP) ecosystem. Discover, claim and verify MCP servers. Every listing carries a quality grade (A to F), maintenance signals and an honest status: unclaimed, claimed or verified. Verified means we ran the server ourselves and completed a real MCP handshake.

MCPVault indexes about 5,000 public MCP servers with dedicated pages for the tools each server exposes. Listings are free to claim by the maintainer (GitHub ownership check). Verification is free during early access and requires the MCPVault badge to stay visible in the project README or site.
