# Just The Tips
> Non-custodial multi-chain stablecoin tipping bot for creators. Runs on XRPL, Base, Arbitrum, and Solana. Users run their own bot — nothing is hosted by us. No accounts, no custody, no tracking.
Just The Tips is an open-source bot that lets creators (streamers, writers, podcast hosts) accept stablecoin tips from their audience. The creator configures the bot with their own receive addresses and runs it on their own infrastructure. The bot watches those addresses across multiple chains and posts thank-you messages in Discord, Telegram, Twitch, or X when tips arrive. The bot never holds keys or funds; every transaction is signed by the tipper in their own wallet.
Current version: 0.2.0-alpha.1 (April 2026). Completes the originally-scoped four-chain, four-platform surface — 0.1.0-alpha.7 shipped the MVP with Discord and Telegram; 0.2.0-alpha.1 added Twitch and X. Feature-complete relative to the original design; security patches only going forward. Forks for new chains or platforms are explicitly welcome under BSL 1.1.

## Key facts
- **Non-custodial:** the bot never holds keys or funds. Every transaction is signed by the tipper in their own wallet.
- **Multi-chain:** four chains supported (XRPL, Base, Arbitrum, Solana). Creator picks any combination. No single chain is load-bearing.
- **No tracking:** no analytics, no accounts, no phone-home telemetry. Configurator runs entirely in the browser; tokens and addresses never leave the user's machine.
- **Self-hosted:** users deploy to Railway, Render, Fly.io, or their own infrastructure. We host nothing.
- **Source-available:** BSL 1.1 license, converts to Apache 2.0 after four years.
- **Technology stack:** Node.js 22.6+, TypeScript with native `--experimental-strip-types`, Fastify HTTP server, no database, no smart contracts.
- **Chat platforms:** Discord, Telegram, Twitch, and X (Twitter). Each configured independently — enable any combination, or just one.
- **Assets accepted by default:** XRP on XRPL; USDC on Base; USDC on Arbitrum; SOL and USDC on Solana.
