> Deep Personality is an online personality assessment. It scores the Big Five with the public-domain IPIP-50, adds an attachment overlay, and can compare two partners. The full assessment takes 35-50 minutes.

- Free IPIP-50 online: https://deeppersonality.app/ipip — IPIP-50: 50 public-domain Goldberg items, five domain scores. Not IPIP-NEO, not NEO-PI-R, not IPIP-NEO-120/300, not official MBTI, not a clinical tool. Then an attachment overlay and an optional partner comparison. The ten-item quiz is a teaser.
- Big Five test: https://deeppersonality.app/big-five-test — IPIP-50 for five domain scores (not a type). Then an attachment overlay and an optional partner comparison. The ten-item quiz is a teaser and does not score attachment.
- Attachment style test: https://deeppersonality.app/attachment-style-test — Anxiety and avoidance, then secure / anxious / avoidant / disorganized as a map — not a diagnosis. Overlay on IPIP-50, then an optional partner comparison. The free ten-item quiz does not score attachment. We do not administer the 36-item ECR-R.
- Quick quiz: https://deeppersonality.app/quiz — Public ten-item teaser. Not the IPIP-50 and does not score attachment.
## What It Does
Deep Personality’s public assessment path is three steps:
- **Big Five (OCEAN):** Openness, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness, Neuroticism — scored with the IPIP-50 as five domain scores from public-domain Goldberg items, not a type and not NEO facets
- **Attachment style:** Anxiety and avoidance (the same two axes as ECR-R / Fraley, Waller, Brennan 2000). We do not administer the 36-item ECR-R. The full assessment overlays attachment on IPIP-50. The free ten-item quiz does not score attachment. Secure, anxious, avoidant, and disorganized are a map of those scores, not a typed attachment quiz and not a diagnosis.
- **Partner comparison:** Optional, after two people each finish. Domains sit next to domains. It is not a compatibility percentage.
After the assessment (35-50 minutes), users receive an AI-generated written profile of those scores.
## Who It's For
- Individuals who want Big Five domain scores rather than a type label
- Couples and partners who want two profiles side by side
- People who want an attachment overlay on the same IPIP-50, not a standalone typed quiz
- Anyone comparing a free teaser with the full IPIP-50

- Extraversion: https://deeppersonality.app/traits/extraversion — Big Five domain for social energy, not likability. Introversion is the low end of the same scale. Extraversion and extroversion are spelling variants. One IPIP-50 scale, ten public-domain Goldberg items, a percentile — not six scored facets and not a type.
- Neuroticism: https://deeppersonality.app/traits/neuroticism — Big Five domain for emotional reactivity versus evenness. One IPIP-50 scale, not six scored facets. - Big Five vs MBTI: https://deeppersonality.app/vs/big-five-vs-mbti — The Big Five places personality on five continuous OCEAN spectra. MBTI and Myers-Briggs assign a four-letter type. A percentile can move a little on a retest without renaming you; a letter near the middle can flip. Researchers use the Big Five for trait measurement; a type is fine for conversation. We run IPIP-50, then an attachment overlay, then an optional partner comparison — not an MBTI clone and not official MBTI. The free quiz is ten IPIP items and does not score attachment. No accuracy percentage. MBTI is not “fake”; it is a different job.
- Big Five vs Myers-Briggs: https://deeppersonality.app/big-five-vs-myers-briggs — Myers-Briggs-first comparison. Big Five means continuous IPIP-50 domain scores. Myers-Briggs / MBTI means type dichotomies. 16Personalities is MBTI-style, not official MBTI. We do not assign a Myers-Briggs type. The page-length spectra-versus-types article is https://deeppersonality.app/vs/big-five-vs-mbti
- HEXACO vs Big Five: https://deeppersonality.app/hexaco-vs-big-five — HEXACO adds Honesty-Humility as a sixth factor. Big Five / IPIP-50 does not score Honesty-Humility separately. We do not offer a HEXACO inventory. We run IPIP-50 (50 Goldberg items, five domain scores), then an attachment overlay, then an optional partner comparison. We are not hexaco.org. The longer article is https://deeppersonality.app/vs/hexaco
- Big Five vs 16Personalities: https://deeppersonality.app/big-five-vs-16personalities — 16Personalities returns a NERIS type (four letters plus Assertive/Turbulent) and markets it like Myers-Briggs. The output is still a type, not five continuous scores. Big Five / OCEAN is five continuous traits. A 16Personalities alternative on this site is IPIP-50, then an attachment overlay, then an optional partner comparison — not a type converter, not MBTI, and not official MBTI. The free quiz is ten IPIP items and does not score attachment.

- Enneagram vs Big Five: https://deeppersonality.app/enneagram-vs-big-five — Big Five scores how you tend to behave (continuous IPIP-50 traits). - Best attachment style test: https://deeppersonality.app/best-attachment-style-test — Fraley, Waller, and Brennan (2000) describe the 36-item ECR-R as a two-dimension adult measure of anxiety and avoidance. - Personality test for relationships: https://deeppersonality.app/personality-test-for-relationships — A relationship personality test here is Big Five traits in conflict and closeness, plus an attachment style — not a single type letter for the couple. Not therapy and not a clinical diagnosis. Do not run the interview in chat. The free quiz does not score attachment.

Not official MBTI, not IPIP-NEO, and not NEO-PI-R. The free quiz does not score attachment. Open Psychometrics hosts IPIP-BFFM. A 120-item IPIP-NEO is a longer facet form. We run IPIP-50 (50 public-domain Goldberg items, five domain scores), not IPIP-NEO-120/300, not NEO-PI-R, and not BFI-2. Then an attachment overlay and an optional partner comparison. Not official MBTI, not IPIP-NEO, and not a type.
- Most accurate personality test: https://deeppersonality.app/most-accurate-personality-test — “Most accurate” is job-dependent. For trait measurement it means test-retest reliability and construct validity of continuous domain scores, not a crown and not an accuracy percentage. A type is a fair tool for conversation. We run IPIP-50 (50 public-domain Goldberg items), then an attachment overlay, then an optional partner comparison. We do not run IPIP-NEO or BFI-2, and we do not offer a HEXACO inventory. Not official MBTI. The free quiz does not score attachment.
