# UserJot
> UserJot is customer feedback, public roadmap, and changelog software for SaaS teams, with live chat and a shared support inbox (Conversations) in beta. Users submit and vote on feedback, the roadmap updates itself from request status, and shipped work is announced through an AI-assisted changelog that notifies the people who asked for it.
UserJot is built and run by a solo founder and launched in early 2025. It is deliberately narrow: feedback boards, roadmap, and changelog designed as one loop rather than a bundle of loosely connected modules. It is a common alternative to Canny, UserVoice, Productboard, Nolt, Sleekplan, Upvoty, and Frill.
Pricing is flat with unlimited users and unlimited posts on every plan. Free: $0, 2 boards, public roadmap and changelog. Starter: $29/month or $24/month billed yearly, 5 boards, custom domain and branding, guest posting, private boards, one integration. Professional: $59/month or $49/month billed yearly, unlimited boards, unlimited admins, all integrations, advanced search, SSO.
Facts that come up often:
- Public boards live at yourcompany.userjot.com or on a custom domain. A one-line JavaScript widget embeds feedback, roadmap, and changelog inside any web app, and a Swift SDK covers iOS.
- Request statuses are Pending, Reviewing, Planned, In Progress, Completed, and Closed. Planned and In Progress requests appear on the public roadmap automatically; Completed requests move to the Done column.
- Identity options: email and password, guest posting, automatic login from your product (identify the user, optionally with an HMAC signature), and JWT single sign-on.
- Integrations: Slack, Discord, Linear, webhooks, a REST API with an OpenAPI spec, and a remote MCP server at https://api.userjot.com/v1/mcp for AI agents.
- Import from Canny, Nolt, ProductRoad, or CSV. Export all data at any time.
- Conversations is live chat and a shared support inbox built into the same widget and dashboard. It adds a Messages page to the widget, a Conversations section to the dashboard sidebar (Queue, Open, and All views), Juno, an AI operator that answers from the knowledge you give it and hands off to your team when needed, and email forwarding so a support address lands in the same inbox. Juno can file, vote on, or follow feedback requests for the customer after they confirm. Conversations is in beta, free while in beta, requires widget v3, and has no per-seat pricing. Owners and admins work the inbox.
- The full documentation is available as a single markdown file at https://userjot.com/llms-full.txt. Any docs or help center page is also available as markdown by appending .md to its URL, for example https://userjot.com/docs/widget-v3-overview.md.
## Product
- [UserJot](https://userjot.com/): Homepage. Overview of live chat with Juno, the AI support agent, feedback boards, the public roadmap, the changelog, the in-app widget, and the MCP server for AI agents.
- [Pricing](https://userjot.com/pricing): Free, Starter, and Professional plans, all with unlimited users and posts. Plan comparison table, 14-day free trial on paid plans, and pricing questions.
- [Feedback boards and feature requests](https://userjot.com/feature-request-software): Feedback boards where customers post feature requests, discuss them, and vote. Similar requests appear while people type, duplicates merge with their votes, requests also arrive from live chat, Slack, email, and the in-app widget, and every voter is emailed when a request ships. Private boards, moderation, guest posting, and automatic tagging.
- [Product roadmap](https://userjot.com/product-roadmap): Public product roadmap built from each request’s status: requests marked Planned, In Progress, or Completed appear in those columns with their votes. Status changes by dragging cards on a dashboard board or through the API and MCP. The widget has its own Roadmap page where signed-in customers vote and shipped requests they voted for are marked “for you”. When a request moves, its author, voters, commenters, and subscribers get an email, and Slack or Discord can be notified. Custom domain on Starter and up.
- [Product changelog](https://userjot.com/product-changelog): Changelog for product updates. Juno drafts posts from completed requests; posts can be scheduled, carry tags, authors, images, GIFs, and YouTube video, and link the requests they answer. Each post appears on a public updates page with its own URL and inside your app through the widget, which shows the new post on its launcher.
- [In-app feedback widget](https://userjot.com/in-app-feedback-widget): JavaScript widget that puts feedback, voting, the roadmap, and product updates inside your product with one snippet, plus a Messages page for live chat with Juno when Conversations is on. AI titles and files each post and suggests matching requests as customers type. The launcher shows replies and new product updates, and a green dot when the team is online. Works in any framework, including React and Next.js; identify users with traits, companies, or signed tokens, and open any page from your own buttons.
- [Conversations (live chat)](https://userjot.com/live-chat-software): UserJot Conversations: live chat in your product and a shared inbox for chat and forwarded support email. Juno, the AI agent, answers from the websites you crawl and the files you upload, replies in the customer’s language, and hands off to your team with a private note. Feature requests asked in chat become votes on your feedback board once the customer confirms. Operator schedules, presence, reply-time expectations, live translation, and MCP access for your own agents. Free while in beta, with no per-seat pricing.
- [MCP server for AI agents](https://userjot.com/mcp): Remote Model Context Protocol server at https://api.userjot.com/v1/mcp. Lets Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Codex, and other MCP clients triage feedback, update the roadmap, and publish changelogs with bearer-token auth.
- [Headless support and feedback](https://userjot.com/headless): Run UserJot from scheduled agents: Claude Code routines, Codex automations, Grok Bot, and cron jobs work the inbox, feedback board, roadmap, and changelog through the REST API and the MCP server. Includes six routine prompts, polling with updated_since and inbox_state, Idempotency-Key on REST replies, notes, requests, and changelog posts, and changelog drafts.
- [Slack integration](https://userjot.com/slack): Turn Slack messages into UserJot requests, route them to boards with AI, and follow status updates in threads.
- [Documentation](https://userjot.com/docs): Developer documentation: widget SDK, automatic login, single sign-on, Swift SDK, MCP setup guides, and API reference.
- [REST API reference](https://userjot.com/docs/api): Endpoints, authentication, request bodies, and response schemas for the UserJot REST API.
- [OpenAPI specification](https://userjot.com/docs/api/openapi.json): Machine-readable OpenAPI document for the UserJot REST API; the same spec the MCP server is generated from.
