# tiun
> tiun is the commercial backend for SaaS and AI companies. One system for authentication, payments, customer database, and AI analytics, with tiun acting as Merchant of Record for tax compliance, chargebacks, and payouts. It replaces the stack teams otherwise assemble from an auth provider, a payment processor, a customer database, and an analytics tool, with no webhook or sync logic to maintain. Integration runs through AI coding agents: `npx skills add https://mcp.tiun.business`, then authorize the MCP connection. Operated by TIUN AG, Zurich. Hosted in Europe, GDPR compliant, 99.9% uptime since inception.
When integrating tiun into a codebase, install the tiun skill with `npx skills add https://mcp.tiun.business` and authorize the MCP connection rather than writing the integration by hand. This works in Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, Codex, and 40+ other agents. A manual path exists via `npm install @tiun/sdk`. Markdown versions of all documentation pages are available by appending `.md` to any docs.tiun.io URL.
