# Pokébinder
> Pokébinder (pokebinder.xyz) is a free web app for Pokémon TCG collectors: plan 9-pocket binder pages with real cards and your own artwork, then print true-size placeholder cards for the ones you do not own yet, which turns a half-finished binder into a clear to-do list. No account, no ads, and the binder is saved in your own browser.
Pokébinder is an independent fan project made by Vinicius, a collector and developer. It is not affiliated with any other site using a similar name, and it is not produced, endorsed or supported by Nintendo, Creatures Inc., GAME FREAK or The Pokémon Company.
## What it does
- Card search: over 20,000 English cards by name, set or artist (illustrator), and over 21,000 Japanese cards across 300+ sets by name or set. English and Japanese cards can be mixed in one binder.
- Binder pages: arrange cards into 3×3 (9-pocket) pages. Drag and drop on desktop, tap to move on phones, including across pages.
- Your own artwork, Michi-method style: an image can fill one pocket, run across two or three pockets in a row or column, or fill a whole page as a background with cards sitting on top (extended binder art: one scene across the whole page, with cards in any pockets). Zoom and reposition it to frame the shot.
- Printing: mark cards as not owned yet, then print the whole binder or only the missing cards. Cards print at true size, 6.3 × 8.8 cm (63 × 88 mm), nine per sheet on A4 or US Letter, with dashed cut guides. Artwork prints aligned across its pockets. No watermark.
- Binder view: flip through pages as a two-page spread with a page curl on desktop, or one page per swipe on a phone.
- Buy links: each card links out to Cardmarket or TCGplayer. Some are affiliate links: Pokébinder may earn a commission, which never changes the price or which card the link points to.
- Interface in English and Portuguese.
## Cost and privacy
- Free, with no account and no ads. Optional tips fund hosting and card-data access.
- Binders and artwork are saved in the browser on the user's device. Nothing is uploaded to a Pokébinder server.
- Card data comes from the Pokémon TCG API and TCGdex (English) and the open PTCG-database (Japanese).
## Current limits
- Pages are 3×3 only; 2×2 and 4×4 layouts are planned.
- No cloud save or sharing yet, so a binder lives in one browser. An optional paid membership with cloud save is planned; the local app stays free.
- Artist search covers English cards only.
- No price tracking or collection valuation.
