# ArtDeck

> Creation starts with what you keep. ArtDeck is a native reference-board app for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Keep images, videos, links, notes, PDFs, GIFs, drawings, and groups on visual boards, then study color, composition, values, shapes, detail, measurement, and motion.

ArtDeck is free to download on the App Store for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. A 7-day trial unlocks every feature, takes no payment method, and does not auto-renew. After the trial, a single in-app purchase unlocks ArtDeck permanently. There is no subscription, no recurring fee, and no ArtDeck account.

## Product

- **Hybrid visual boards:** Arrange images, videos, links, notes, PDFs, GIFs, drawings, studies, and groups on one canvas.
- **Capture:** Add material from Photos, Files, folders, camera, document scanner, paste, drag and drop, or another app's Share menu.
- **ToolBox study tools:** Use five non-destructive lenses (Values, Color, Composition, Read, and Measure) over still images, frozen video frames, GIF frames, or the visible board.
- **Moodboards:** A board works as a moodboard for a project, with the study tools available over the same images rather than in a separate app.
- **Animation and motion reference:** Change playback speed or step through video and GIFs frame by frame, compare nearby frames with onion skinning, and browse GIF frames in a visual filmstrip.
- **Work with a drawing app:** On iPad, run ArtDeck in Split View, Slide Over, or Stage Manager next to Procreate or another drawing app, and pass a picked color across on the clipboard.
- **Link cards:** Keep URLs as rich cards with a title, description, preview image, and source alongside visual references.
- **Apple-native workflow:** Capture on iPhone (iOS), study next to an art app on iPad (iPadOS), and organize on Mac (macOS).
- **iCloud sync:** Optional sync through the user's iCloud account, with a per-board choice about what travels between devices.
- **Offline use:** Boards remain fully usable locally without an ArtDeck account; sync catches up after reconnecting.
- **Themes:** Choose from the Default, Inkstone, and Neutral built-in themes, edit color roles with contrast checks, and import, export, or assign a theme to one board.
- **Export:** Export boards or selected items as JPG, PNG, HEIC, PDF, or an ArtDeck board file.
