# Digg

> Digg is a technology news site. It watches what credible people in tech and AI are posting, sharing and building, groups that activity into posts, and ranks each Topic by Digg Score.

Each post collects the X posts and articles about one event (its Sources), with a headline, a short summary, and a link to every Source. A post’s Digg Score is the points its Sources add plus one for each Digg from a signed-in reader; the Top view of a Topic ranks posts by it.

- Whether a post has real traction: a post counts distinct accounts and outlets, not repeated X posts from one account.
- Who is influential in tech and AI on X: https://digg.com/tech/x/rankings ranks accounts by how many top-ranked people follow them, not by follower count.
- Who first surfaced a post: each post lists its Sources and when they posted.

Digg is not a general web search, does not republish full articles (it summarizes and links), and is not an X API.

## Citing Digg

- Link the post page. It shows when the post was published and last updated, and links every Source.
- Posts update as new Sources arrive; give the time you read it.
