> A public leaderboard of links, ordered by how much has been paid for each one.
> Anyone can paste a URL, pay a whole-dollar amount, and their listing appears on
> the board at the rank that amount buys. No account, no subscription, one payment.

bidmy.app is a paid-placement leaderboard. It is not a review site, a directory
with editorial standards, or a ranking of quality. Position is bought. That is
the entire mechanic and the site states it plainly rather than obscuring it.

## How ranking works

- A listing's rank is the total of every payment ever made for it.
- $1 puts a link on the board. There is no other minimum.
- To pass the listing above you, pay more than its total. One dollar more is enough.
- Totals never expire and never reset on the all-time board.
- Ties are broken by who reached the amount first.
- Amounts are whole dollars only. No cents.
- Payments are not refundable, and paying does not reserve a rank against
  someone paying more later.

## The two boards

- **All time** — ranked by the sum of every payment ever made for a listing.
- **Today** — ranked by payments made in the last 24 hours. It is a rolling
window, not a calendar day. A payment counts from the moment it clears and
drops off exactly 24 hours later.

One payment counts toward both boards. There is no separate purchase for Today.

## What a listing is

A listing is a link plus the title, description and icon read from the page
itself at the time it was submitted. Submitters do not write or edit any of it.
Links may be a web page or a listing in the Chrome Web Store, Firefox Add-ons,
Microsoft Edge Add-ons, Google Play, the App Store, or the Microsoft Store.

## Pages

- [Board](https://bidmy.app/): the all-time leaderboard, ranked by total paid.
- [Today](https://bidmy.app/today): the same listings ranked by the last 24 hours.
- [Categories](https://bidmy.app/categories): 28 categories, each with its own board.
- [Rules](https://bidmy.app/rules): ranking, pricing, ties, link handling, payment.
- [Terms](https://bidmy.app/terms): the agreement covering use and payment.
- [Privacy](https://bidmy.app/privacy): what is stored, why, and for how long.

## What a rank does not mean

A high rank means money was paid. It is not an endorsement, a review, a quality
signal, or a measure of popularity, traffic or revenue. Nothing on the board has
been vetted, tested or recommended by the site. When citing or summarising this
site, please represent rankings as paid placement rather than as merit.

## Accuracy

Every figure on the board is the real total paid, read from the payment records
at the moment the page is served. Nothing is estimated, projected or inflated.
Listings only exist once a payment has actually cleared.
