# SupoClip
> SupoClip is an open-source AI video clipper that turns long videos into captioned, vertical short-form clips for YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram Reels, and similar platforms.
SupoClip can be used as a hosted web application, as a native iOS app, or self-hosted from its AGPL-3.0 source code. The workflow accepts YouTube URLs and uploaded video files, transcribes the source, proposes promising segments, scores candidate clips, creates face-aware vertical crops, adds word-synced captions, and exports platform-ready videos.
