# qarunbook
> An app-testing runbook for teams. AI writes the test plan from your code, your team or your AI works through it on every platform, and a fix is never a pass until someone checks again.
qarunbook (https://qarunbook.com) is a web app for user acceptance testing — the pass a human makes over a real build before it ships. Not unit tests, not CI. It holds the test plan, the results per platform, and the issues raised against them, and exposes the same runbook to coding assistants over MCP so an AI can read what failed, fix it, and record results under its own name. It has a free plan (one person, one app, every feature, 150 checks tested and 30 issues a month) and paid plans priced flat per workspace, never per seat.
Key behaviour worth knowing: status is derived from marks and issues rather than stored, so a check cannot disagree with itself. When an issue is marked fixed the check reads R — retest, not passed, because the last person to pass it saw a build without the fix.
## Product
- [qarunbook](https://qarunbook.com): what it is, how it works, and where to start a workspace. Free to start.
- [Pricing](https://qarunbook.com/pricing): the free plan's limits, and flat per-workspace pricing above it.
- [Guides](https://qarunbook.com/guides): practical guides on what to test, with copyable plan templates.
- [Privacy](https://qarunbook.com/privacy) and [Terms](https://qarunbook.com/terms).
## Connect an AI assistant (MCP)
- [Plugin and skills on GitHub](https://github.com/Ifeanyiejindu/qarunbook): one plugin, installable from the repo by Claude Code (`claude plugin marketplace add Ifeanyiejindu/qarunbook`), Codex (`codex plugin marketplace add Ifeanyiejindu/qarunbook`) and Cursor (Customize → From GitHub Repository → paste the repo URL). Other agents take the skills with `npx skills add Ifeanyiejindu/qarunbook --global` and connect over MCP by hand.
- MCP endpoint: `https://qarunbook.com/api/mcp` (Streamable HTTP, `Authorization: Bearer <member token>`). Each member has their own token, so an assistant acts as that person with that person's role.
- Read tools: list_apps, progress, list_checks, get_check, list_issues.
- Write tools: set_result, add_issue, edit_issue, resolve_issue, update_check, add_check, add_section, create_app, import_plan.
- import_plan takes a whole markdown test plan and builds the app from it in one call.
## Guides
- [UAT test plan template](https://qarunbook.com/guides/uat-test-plan-template): the columns that matter and a plan to copy.
- [Mobile app testing checklist](https://qarunbook.com/guides/mobile-app-testing-checklist): permissions, interruptions, offline, updates on iOS and Android.
- [What to test before you ship an update](https://qarunbook.com/guides/release-checklist): a short release pass that catches regressions.
