# Opengeni
> Opengeni is an open-source agent harness you can integrate anywhere: sandboxes, permissions, memory, integrations, durable sessions and audit built in. Three common uses: a software factory (agents that write, test and open pull requests), a cloud harness (your team's shared, always-on agents connected to your tools), and an AI assistant inside your own product.
Opengeni is Apache-2.0 licensed. Durable sessions, tools and integrations, sandboxes, human approvals, company knowledge, schedules and audit come built in. Use the managed service at app.opengeni.ai, or self-host it and use models in your own cloud. Each customer of your product gets its own workspace, sessions, files and knowledge.
