# EasyCut > EasyCut is a free video editor that runs in the browser (https://easycut.studio). It is the finishing editor for videos that Claude makes: Claude creates a motion video its own way, and the EasyCut connector hands over every part (each scene, title, overlay, music track and sound effect) as its own clip, so the user can trim, swap, mute, retime and export it. Nothing is uploaded: files stay on the user's computer. No account, no watermark. ## Use EasyCut with Claude - [How to make a motion graphics video with Claude and edit it](https://easycut.studio/guides/claude-motion-video/): the step-by-step guide. - Claude Desktop: install the EasyCut extension, https://easycut.studio/easycut.mcpb (open the file and press Install). - Claude Code: `claude mcp add easycut -- npx -y easycut-connector@latest` - Then open the editor at https://easycut.studio/app/, press **Claude** at the top and turn it on.
